Members of the Council and Public Affairs Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design (HKIUD) paid a return visit to the Northern Metropolis Coordination Office (NMCO) on 13 April 2026. We were pleased to be received by Ms Lindo So, Director of NMCO, and Mr K. W. Ng, Head of the Planning & Development Team (2). Ms So and Mr Ng provided an update on the latest progress of the Northern Metropolis planning. During the visit, HKIUD also explored the possibility of organising a series of Urban Design Workshops in collaboration with NMCO in the coming months.
