Following the HKIUD international conference held on 19 March, a local urban design tour was organized on 20 March on 4 public projects around Kai Tak Area, including (1) Public Rental Housing Project Kai Chuen Court, (2) Diamond Hill Water Feature Park, (3) Kai Tak Station Square, and (4) Kai Tak Light Public Housing project.

The projects demonstrate how Government take care of the well-being of HK people. While the Light Public Housing solve the immediate problems of underprivileged families living in subdivided units, the public rental housing take care of their long-term well-being after the transition period of less than 5 years. Public space like Kai Tak Station Square and Diamond Hill Water Feature Park provides free leisure and recreational urban space for the enjoyment of all walk of people.
