As one of the Supporting organization, Mr. Barry WILSON (Immediate Past President) attended the UCEM Hong Kong Symposium 2024 organised University College of Estate Management on 9 Nov 2024.

With over 100 attendees, including esteemed industry leaders, this event provided a unique platform for critical discussions around “Sustainability in the Built Environment.” Expert speakers shared insights on essential themes such as embracing and shaping sustainable practices, fostering collaboration, ensuring transparency, and the importance of aligning regulations to support sustainable goals.

The Symposium offered an opportunity to reflect on the industry’s historical progress and how, today, we’re poised to make a collective difference as an Industry. Attendees explored case studies and discussed strategies that not only meet sustainable targets but also create employment opportunities under an overarching focus on sustainability.
