HKIUD was thrilled to have been able to witness the grand launch of the prestigious 2023-2024 Greater Bay Area Urban Urban Designer Alliance's Handover and Kicking Ceremony held on 16 December 2023.

Mr. Nuno SOARES (CURB Center for Architecture and Urbanism – Macau), Mr. Benny CHAN (Vice President, HKIUD), Mr. DING Qiang (Shenzhen Planning and Resources Bureau), Dr. PAN An (Guangzhou Urban Planning Association), Mr. SIMA Xiao (Urban Planning Society of Shenzhen) and Mr. TAN Wen Jie (Zhuhai Planning Exploration and Design Industry Association)

Mr. Benny CHAN Chak Bun, Vice President (Local Affairs) of The HKIUD has attended and participated in this momentous occasion. As part of the Greater Bay Area Urban Designer Alliance, HKIUD is excited to join forces with the other four founding member institutes and we are prepared to support Shenzhen, convener for 2023-2024, in elevating the overall urban design standard in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao.
