"NEW URBAN MOBILITY" HKIUD International Webinar (2) -
Active Travel: Transforming London

Like all major cities, London faces multiple challenges from rising air pollution and chronic disease to economic competitiveness and climate change. Transport will play a key part in the solution to these systemic challenges. Shifting thinking from 100 years of car-centric design to a model that prioritises public transport and active travel is not an easy task. Will Norman, London’s Walking and Cycling Commissioner, will reflect on the journey towards creating a cleaner, greener and healthier city – both the successes and the barriers to change.
