GBA Urban Design Award Webinar series (5):
Retro & Prospect - Celebrating the Culturally Rich Urban Fabrics

ENG | 繁體 | 简体

Synopsis
The Greater Bay Area is economically developed, and many of its cities have played an important role in the history of urban development, and have formed a very unique urban texture and cultural context through years of urban construction. In recent decades, with the rapid development of cities, the urban built environment has undergone tremendous changes, and the original urban fabrics are facing new challenges and opportunities. How to protect and improve the existing rich urban context in the rapid development? We can find inspiration from the winning entries of the Greater Bay Area Urban Design Awards 2023. In this forum, we invited representatives of four award-winning units to serve as keynote speakers. They will share with us their practical experience in the transformation and improvement of different urban built environments in the Greater Bay Area.
