The Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design (HKIUD) Urban Design Awards are held every two years to recognise urban design related projects with outstanding performance and contributions in promoting excellence in Urban Design. The awards have divided into Built Project and Plan / Concept categories. The 2018 Award has received a total of 27 submissions, in which 8 out of 27 are from the Built Project Category. The adjudication was held on 9 August 2018. The Institute would like to thank all the Jurors for their Professional Adjudication in selecting the submission which include 2 Grand Award and 2 Merit for the Built Project category, 1 Merits and 2 Special Citation for Plan / Concept (Local Projects) category, 2 Merits for Plan / Concept (Non Local Projects) category.
