We were thrilled to host four insightful urban leaders at our recent webinar to share and discuss on smart and sustainable projects in India!

Mr. Kunal Kumar from India's Smart Cities Mission, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs shared their ambitious vision for leveraging technology to build more livable, efficient cities across India.

Ms. Paromita Roy from the Delhi Development Authority shared how her team is implementing innovative Transit Oriented Development policies and public space projects that are transforming the country's urban mobility.

Professor Arunava Dasgupta of School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi & President of IUDI India discusses how different stakeholders are and should be involved in city revitalization and redevelopment projects.

Finally, Sujata S. Govada, PhD of UDP International and ISU illuminated how Smart and Sustainable Cities/Communities Framework is developed to ensure more walkable, liveable and resilient cities.Also, addressed strategies for integrating existing villages while celebrating local art, culture and distinctive architecture.

Through their diverse experiences, these notable speakers explored how policies, partnerships and planning are coming together to shape a more sustainable urban future across India. We all gained meaningful insights on crafting people-centered cities through walkability, connectivity and collaboration.
